Thanks for the review, I'd been on the fence about replacing my Siege Springer (and tbh I still kinda am, but I at least have a much better idea of what the differences are now)! It really does feel like Springer is kind of the culmination of that "Voyager + accessories = Leader" thing we've been seeing since Siege, particularly with the triple-changers, which... I don't hate that on principle, but it does feel a little rough staring down fundamentally the same figure 5 years later for double the price. (Side note, for what it's worth: I can't speak for anyone else's motives - and god knows Transformers fans love to get seriously worked up over pointless things - but as one person who's been giggling with some friends about Springer's "Iconic Wreckers Hammer", it's really not a complaint, or even about *this* instance of it at all. For me it's more just an opportunity to engage in a running joke on that Wreck and Rule subline with the cardboard build-a-hammer, and attempted marketing hype for said build-a-hammer. Like, I don't have a single problem with its inclusion here, or generally with the inclusion of accessories that don't directly reference whatever version of the character a toy is "meant" to be - I just think it's funny to call it The Iconic Wreckers Hammer in any and all contexts now.)

The changes made improves it alot, I wished that went the extra mile to try to "hide" the car wheels in copter mode, then it'd be must have for me. I have the Siege one so I'll pass - for now.

If you swing the wing back and rest the shoulder on a clothed table, you can take a phillips head and push hard on that pin. I've seen it vary between copies, but most times the pressure will lock the pin in place and fix the looseness. As for the outward movement, the screw on the back of the shoulder is usually fine if you tighten it.

I love this thing! And yeah, getting the sword piece tabbed in under the Giganotosaurus is almost always a pain in the butt for me! I still refuse to put them in their combined dino mode though...

just seeing him I have a feeling MPG Raiden would break on anyone even if they are super carefull that chest piece doesn't feel secured enough to break apart and man, It feels it got too much diecast on top and so little on the legs which would totally be of help with him standing... really a cool design, but just a terrible toy as a collector an as a supporter of people that likes to play with their toys instead of leaving them as statues

at that size this isn't worth it being more expensive than Missing Link Optimus Prime
